IDONANO technology won the ACCSI 2026 "2025 Scientific Instrument Industry Growth Potential Award", demonstrating the emerging strength of domestic XRD with its core technology and independent innovation.

2025/04/2842

From April 22nd to 24th, 2026, the 19th China Scientific Instrument Development Annual Conference (ACCSI2026), hailed as the "Davos Forum" of China's scientific instrument industry, was grandly held in Beijing. The conference, themed "AI Empowerment, Intelligent Future," brought together over 1800 high-level industry professionals and more than 100 instrument and equipment manufacturers for exhibition.

At the concurrently held 5th Scientific Instrument Investment and Financing Forum, the list of winners of the "2025 Scientific Instrument Industry Growth Potential Enterprises" was officially announced. After multi-dimensional comprehensive evaluation, Aidu Nano, along with six other companies including Zhendian Technology and SuperVision Bio, jointly won this honor. Sales Director Yang Bing accepted the award on stage, and Product Director Liu Qian attended the event, witnessing Aidu Nano's moment of glory.

The six award-winning companies have precisely positioned themselves in four high-end niche markets: optical imaging, ultrafast detection, life science automation, and X-ray analysis. Relying on independent research and development, they have achieved breakthroughs and leaps in core technologies, becoming typical representatives of high-quality development of domestically produced scientific instruments. In recent years, the country has continuously increased its support for the independent research and development of high-end scientific instruments, significantly accelerating the pace of technology localization. A number of small and medium-sized enterprises with core technologies and broad market prospects have grown rapidly, with Aidu Nano being a prominent example.

Deeply rooted in the field of X-ray diffraction, building a foundation for growth with the mission of a "game-changer"

Founded in 2023 and located in the Songjiang National High-Tech Park in Shanghai, Aidu Nano is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, manufacturing, and application of high-end X-ray analysis instruments. Since its inception, the company has continuously accelerated its independent research and development, and has been successively recognized as a National High-tech Enterprise and a 2026 Shanghai "Specialized, Refined, and Innovative" SME, demonstrating its professional, refined, and distinctive advantages in its niche markets.

The "angstrom" in the company name represents the tiny unit of length at the atomic and molecular scale, symbolizing the exploration of the microscopic world; "degree" is a unit of measurement, symbolizing precision and standard, reflecting the company's vision of creating high-performance instruments with ultimate accuracy in the field of micro-scale.

Product Matrix Achieves Multiple Breakthroughs, N3 PhiniX and N8 DiffraX Facilitate Domestic Substitution

As the "gold standard" for material crystal structure analysis, X-ray diffractometers are widely used in high-end manufacturing fields such as semiconductor microelectronics, new energy, chemical pharmaceuticals, and functional ceramics. According to industry data, the Chinese laboratory X-ray diffractometer market size was approximately 1 billion yuan in 2024, with the high-end market long dominated by European and Japanese brands. Aidon's independently developed series of products represent a breakthrough achievement addressing this industry pain point.

The company's core product, the N3 PhiniX high-power desktop X-ray diffractometer, features a compact desktop design, modular expansion capabilities, and integrated intelligent control and high-sensitivity detectors. It eliminates reliance on foreign testing solutions and covers various application needs, including phase analysis, thin film grazing incidence, reflectivity, and in-situ testing.

Regarding its high-end product line, the company is developing the N8 DiffraX multi-functional flagship diffractometer, which will be equipped with an automated sample loading system with over 48 positions, a large-area two-dimensional detector, multilayer mirrors, a Ka1 monochromator, and a five-axis fully automated sample stage. It can perform single-crystal and polycrystalline thin film testing as well as 6-12 inch sample testing. The development of this product signifies Aidon's accelerated expansion into broader scientific research and industrial applications. Market expansion continues to gain momentum, and industry-academia-research collaboration achieves a leap from R&D to practical application.

To date, the N3 PhiniX diffractometer system has been installed and delivered to several top research institutions and universities. In April and October 2025, the system was installed, debugged, and finally accepted at Shenzhen University and Shanxi Agricultural University, respectively, and applied to multiple cutting-edge fields such as materials science, chemical engineering, condensed matter physics, and agronomy and resource environment research.

In April 2026, Aidon's first 1200W high-power desktop diffractometer, the N3 PhiniX, was successfully installed in the Extreme Conditions Laboratory of the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. That same year, N3 PhiniX diffraction data also helped a research group at Peking University publish high-level research results in the journal *Advanced Functional Materials*, solving the high-voltage problem of sodium electrodes through precise control of interlayer spacing. From the perspective of scientific research achievement transformation, the company's N3 PhiniX project won the "Excellent Enterprise Award" in the 2025 "Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Shanghai" International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The judging panel highly praised its effective balance between compactness and high performance, believing that the project provides new ideas for the design direction of future scientific instruments. Since 2024, from building a leading domestic X-ray technology resource integration platform to securing orders from a leading global high-end analytical instrument company, the company has been steadily cultivating the domestic instrument market.

Grateful for the recognition, embarking on a new journey with the mission of domestic instrument development

This award of the "2025 Scientific Instrument Industry Growth Potential Award" is not only an authoritative recognition of Aidon's development speed and innovation strength, but also a powerful encouragement for the team to adhere to the path of independent research and development. In a high-tech precision instrument track long dominated by international brands, Aidon, with its solid technological foundation and pragmatic customer service capabilities, has gradually forged a unique path for the industrialization of domestic high-end equipment. **Sales Director Yang Bing** stated after accepting the award: "This award is the best affirmation of the commitment to independent innovation by all members of EduNano. We will continue to uphold the product philosophy of 'precision, reliability, and ease of use,' providing more scientific research and industrial users with high-end X-ray analysis solutions comparable to imported standards."

**Product Director Liu Qian** commented after the event: "The founders' initial aspiration was to create world-class diffractometers, and our company will certainly maintain its sense of mission and forge ahead." She further stated that in the future, EduNano will continue to focus on core user needs, continuously making breakthroughs in the cutting-edge field of diffraction technology, and helping domestically produced high-end scientific instruments go global.
